The Young Reds showed no quit as they battled back to spoil the party in Nashville earning a point in a 2-2 draw.
Caleb Patterson-Sewell was incredible on the night and in the first half, he held the Reds in it stopping a spot-kick after a controversial foul call.
He made two of his ten stops right before the break to keep it at zeroes into halftime.
The Tennessee native continued his incredible night to begin the second half as he looked unbeatable out of the gates.
However, Nashville’s relentless push finally broke through as Matt LaGrassa finished off a ball squared off by Brandon Allen.
Needing a win to secure their playoff spot Nashville added an insurance marker as Allen tucked home a low cross to the far post to make it 2-0.
Young forward Jordan Perruzza was brought on directly following the Allen goal and on his first touch of the match, he slotted home his second goal in as many games off a Tsubasa Endoh rebound.
The Young Reds fought back and Jordan Hamilton rose up to head home a Ryan Telfer cross to even the match at twos.
Patterson-Sewell made a pair of stops right at the end of regulation time and the boys held on for the road draw.
The draw means Nashville will have to wait until the final game of the season to determine their 2018 USL Playoff fate.
