Preseason Match Recap | Toronto FC 2 – 2 AIK Fotboll

Toronto FC played out a 2-2 draw against AIK Fotboll in their third preseason match on Sunday evening, courtesy of goals in either half from Deandre Kerr and Markus Cimermancic in Marbella, Spain.

The Reds took an early lead, as Djordje Mihailovic’s pinpoint cross was powerfully headed home by Deandre Kerr in the 13th minute.

The 12-time Swedish champions responded after the break, equalizing from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute before taking the lead in the 78th minute.

TFC pushed for a response and found a stoppage time equalizer, with Markus Cimermancic finishing from close-range to secure the draw and extend the Reds’ unbeaten start to preseason.

The Reds continute preseason action in Marbella, Spain on Wednesday, February 11 against Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK before concluding the preseason slate three days later against FC Polissya Zhytomyr of Ukraine.
