Harrisburg – Toronto FC II fell at the hands of the Harrisburg City Islanders 2-1 on Saturday night.
The Young Reds jumped out in front on Shaan Hundal’s third goal of the season. Hundal and Malik Johnson linked up to begin the attack and Hundal pounced on the rebound to finish it.
Late into first-half injury time, the hosts found their answer. Ropapa Mensah chipped his shot just out of the reach of Angelo Cavalluzzo and the teams went into the locker room locked up at one.
Shortly after the restart, Mensah gave the hosts the lead off a well-worked attack.
Cavalluzzo made a couple of big saves to keep the Young Reds in the match. However, Harrisburg held on to their one-goal lead and sent their fans home happy.
The Young Reds return home for a three-game homestand to close out the 2017 season. TFC II open the homestand against Louisville City at 7:30 PM on September 27th at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
