Toronto FC II take on AS Roma’s youth side AS Roma Primavera in a friendly at the Ontario Soccer Centre on Tuesday.

It’s a great opportunity for the Young Reds to experience playing against top European talent that will no doubt help their development moving forward.

“When you get the chance to play against a European team it’s such a great experience. So to go out tomorrow and play against them everybody’s excited,” said TFC II forward Sal Bernal following training on Monday.

“It’ll be really good to see where our development and TFC II stands with the European teams. I think it will be a really good learning experience for all of us,” said TFC II defender Mark Serjeant.
