BMO Champions Cup Day Two

U-15: Toronto FC 4, Rush Canada 0

Toronto FC U-15 Academy defeated Rush Canada 4-0 in the first game of the BMO Champions Cup at BMO Training Ground.


Toronto FC opened up the scoring in the 17th minute when Hugo Mbongue beat the Rush goalkeeper with a right-footed shot to the left corner. The Reds didn’t stop there, adding goals from Matteo Albia in the 45th, Shayan Soltanzadeh in the 53rd, and Marco Stojadinovic in the 68th minute.


The TFC U-15’s next match is Saturday, October 19th against Woodbridge SC at 3:00 p.m. on Limonta Field at BMO Training Ground.




U-13: Toronto FC 4, Pro Stars FC 2

Toronto FC U-13 Academy defeated Pro Stars FC 4-2 in the first game of the BMO Champions Cup at BMO Training Ground.


Toronto FC scored three goals in a 16-minute span in the second half to put the match away. TFC goal scorers were Noah De Blasis in the 20th, Adriano Iannello in the 43rd, Donny Dosmatov in the 48th and Andre Dumitru in the 59th minute.


The TFC U-13’s next match is on Saturday against Vaughan SC at 3:00 p.m. on North Field at BMO Training Ground.
